Strength & Movement, Programmed to Your Structure

Training

The half that makes it last

Structural work changes how your body is organized. Training teaches your body to keep the change. I program every session myself, around your structure, your history, and what you actually do with your body.

Sessions run in a fully equipped private fitness studio in Santa Cruz. You get the room, the hour, and the same set of eyes every week.

One System, Two Halves

Change the structure, then train to keep it

Hands-on structural work and training are not competing offers here. They are the same work seen from two sides. The 12-Series reorganizes your structure; training builds strength in the new position so it holds under load. This page is where clients live long-term.

Before You Commit

Who this training is for, honestly

A strong fit if
  • + You want strength and mobility programmed around your actual structure, not a generic template
  • + You are coming out of structural work and want the change to hold under load
  • + You take your body as seriously as the rest of your life: in pain or planning ahead, 45 or 65
  • + You want every session coached by the same practitioner who reads your structure
  • + You are willing to practice between sessions
Probably not the right match if
  • · You want a workout delivered from a screen with no coaching eye on it
  • · You are looking for a bootcamp or a group class atmosphere
  • · You are in acute injury needing medical clearance first
  • · You want someone to count reps and nothing more

Not sure? A twenty-minute consultation is the cleanest way to find out. If a different kind of training suits you better, I will say so and point you well.

What to Know

Real questions, straight answers

How is this different from regular personal training?

I am a structural integrator and a personal trainer, so I program from how your body is actually organized. We focus on how you move, not just what exercises you do. You learn movement quality, efficiency, and awareness that transfer to everything you do, alongside the strength work.

Do I need to be in shape to start?

No. The work meets you where you are, whether you are deconditioned, coming back from injury, or highly trained. We start with fundamental patterns and build from there, at your pace.

Do I have to do the 12-Series first?

No. Training stands on its own. Many clients pair it with structural work because the two halves reinforce each other: hands-on work reorganizes the tissue, training teaches your body to keep the change. New semi-private clients start with a Body Systems Check so I know what I am programming for.

How often should I come?

For private training, 1 to 2 sessions per week is typical. Some clients train more often for a season, then settle into a weekly rhythm with quarterly structural tune-ups.

Can I combine this with my regular workouts or sport?

Yes, that is ideal. This training makes the rest of what you do more effective and safer. You move with better form, reduce injury risk, and get more out of your sport, your rides, and your lifts.

Will I get exercises to do at home?

Yes. Each session includes practices you can do independently, tailored to what your body needs. The goal is building independence, not dependency.
