Pregnancy & Postpartum Support
Move comfortably through pregnancy. Recover fully postpartum.
Your Body is Doing Something Amazing. Let's Support It.
Pregnancy changes everything. Your center of gravity shifts. Your pelvis widens. Hormones make your ligaments looser. Your abs stretch. You're growing a human while trying to stay functional.
Then postpartum hits.and nobody tells you how hard recovery actually is. Sleep-deprived, holding a baby constantly, your body feeling nothing like it used to. You're told to "wait 6 weeks" and then... what?
You deserve better support than that.
Pregnancy: Common Issues I Address
Lower Back & SI Joint Pain
As your belly grows, your center shifts forward. Lower back and SI joints take the load. We release tight areas and teach you to move without pain.
Hip & Pelvic Pain
Relaxin loosens your ligaments to prepare for birth, but that can create instability and pain. We stabilize what needs support and mobilize what's stuck.
Rib & Upper Back Pain
Baby pushing up on your ribs. Breasts getting heavier. Shoulders rounding forward. Upper body tension is real, and we can help.
Swelling & Fluid Retention
Gentle fascial work can help improve lymphatic drainage and reduce uncomfortable swelling in legs and feet.
Preparing for Birth
Better pelvic mobility. Improved breathing patterns. Body awareness for labor. Movement education to prepare your body for the big day.
Postpartum: Getting Your Body Back
"Getting your body back" doesn't mean looking like you did before. It means feeling strong, capable, and pain-free in your new body.
Diastasis Recti (Ab Separation)
Your abs stretched to make room for baby. Now there's a gap. We rebuild core function from the inside out.not just crunches, but real integration.
Pelvic Floor Dysfunction
Leaking when you cough or jump? Pain during sex? Feeling "loose" or weak? We work with (not replace) pelvic floor PT to restore function.
Persistent Back/Hip Pain
Your pelvis shifted during pregnancy. Your movement patterns changed. Even postpartum, these patterns stick around. We reset them.
Neck & Shoulder Pain from Nursing/Carrying
Holding a baby, nursing in awkward positions, carrying car seats.it all creates upper body tension. We release it and teach you better mechanics.
Returning to Exercise Safely
Want to run again? Lift weights? Do yoga? We help you return to activity without injury, building a foundation that supports your goals.
C-Section Recovery
Scar tissue from C-section can create restrictions affecting your entire core. Gentle fascial release can improve mobility and reduce discomfort.
How I Work with Pregnant & Postpartum Clients
During Pregnancy
- • Safe, gentle bodywork adapted to your trimester
- • Side-lying and supported positioning for comfort
- • Focus on areas of greatest discomfort
- • Movement education for daily activities
- • Breathing practices for birth preparation
- • Safe exercise guidance
Postpartum Recovery
- • Wait until cleared by your doctor (usually 6 weeks, longer for C-section)
- • Gentle fascial release to address restrictions
- • Core reconnection exercises (safe for diastasis)
- • Pelvic floor awareness and coordination
- • Progressive strengthening
- • Return-to-exercise programming
Important Notes
I'm not a prenatal massage therapist or pelvic floor PT . but I work collaboratively with them. I focus on structural integration and movement education to complement their work.
Always have medical clearance . especially postpartum, make sure your doctor has cleared you for bodywork and exercise before we start.
You're not "broken" . pregnancy and birth are intense physical events. Your body adapted. Now we help it adapt back to strength and function.
Recovery takes time . you grew a baby for 9 months. Give yourself permission to take time recovering. Rushing back leads to injury.
